Mike likes to carry around a tape measure in his back pocket, which is fitting for the person responsible for building a company that provides solutions architected on sound, quantitative, scientific principles. Mike spent a varied collegiate experience at University of Santa Cruz, California Maritime Academy, and the Haas School of Business before finding his true career calling at APL as Director of Logistics. Well-versed in the discipline of making sure operations run smoothly and on time, Mike parlayed his talents into building a successful consulting company growing at an annual clip of 20% per year, leveraging his skills in process analysis, operations design, organizational development, project management and technology. Mike’s commitment to WingSpread is demonstrated by his singular focus into leading the effort to bring the idea of WingSpread to fruition leveraging the power of the Internet and leading edge analytics technology.

On the personal front, in addition to being an avid skier and collector of exotic South American wines, Mike recently spent two weeks in Africa climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Even though Mike is based in Colorado, which has perfectly good mountains to climb, and is California born and raised, his heart is really in New York and he manages to find the time to visit on a regular basis.
